Not a goodbye, just "arrivederci"

My wonderful experience in Qatar and Aspire Academy is coming to an end.

Arriving in Doha almost four years ago, I would never have thought that I would be leaving this place being so full as a professional and as a person. During this period, I found myself involved in a lot of projects, in which I always strived to give the utmost of me. From being at a training camp in Senegal, all the way to Hong Kong in just a few days, to supporting teams from "youth" to "senior level" and experiencing the fulfilling thrill of our qualification to Asia Cup with the U23 National Team. From kicking off my PhD, to publishing scientific articles with some of the top researchers and sharing unforgettable experiences and practices with some of the best coaches in the world: the only thing I can say is that I feel gratitude!

“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone”. The decision to leave Aspire Academy and Qatar was not easy. The time for me to move on, pursue and experience new challenges is now. I would like to thank the entire Aspire Academy family for the memories, the laughs, the fights (I did have a few) and all the positive vibes you have passed to me. I feel honored to have served Aspire Academy's performance and science department.

Finally, as our director said, I will not say goodbye, just “arrivederci”.
